Hayato Tuulinen, child of Desiderya and Pieter Tuulinen, would like to announce his choice to accept an offer of probationary Citizenship from the Kaalakiota Corporation.
His choice was entered into the Hall of Records on New Caldari Prime by his parents, who are acting as his executors until he reaches the age of majority. Kaalakiota Corporation tendered its offer of probationary citizenship as a consequence of his birth in the Nonni system, last week, to two parents who are both Citizens in good standing.
For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead
in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a
hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Thank you, all. In about ten years I anticipate being able to start taking things easy!
(In the interim, not so much) ;)

Diana Kim wrote:Congratulations, Tuulinen-haan... but, excuse me, how old is he? You said his choice?
Many of his future choices over the next decade are going to be at our discretion, Kim-haani. :)
He's about a week old so, no, he didn't actually make the decision himself, but he will (of course) make the decision as to whether to accept or deny his full citizenship when the time comes. For the time being we made the decision on his behalf.

Nauplius wrote:I am not knowledgeable about Caldari etiquette in this matter, but I am nosy, so I'll ask anyway GÇö was this a natural birth or one of those weird Caldari Tube births?
My son takes after his mother in that he was naturally conceived and carried to term whereas I was artificially batched and tube born. Amazingly the experience has done nothing to convince Des to go with the tube option next time. Glutton for punishment that she is.

It's a traditional parenting thing. In fact, it's generally accepted that children take the corporate affiliation of their parents, but the tradition is that all corporate affiliation is voluntary.
Legally I am empowered to make decisions for my child.
